Can’t get out of this mode today
let the papers stack on my desk
push them away for another day
my mind made up
even if I don’t approve
I don’t get to choose
hopefully it will pass
faster than the last
So I can put the focus back on me
switch the mode buried inside of me
don’t tell me nothing is wrong
that I can get out of this mode all along
this mode has its own analog.
