A little boy doesn’t return to school today
because kids kept bullying his shoes
Not thinking what it took for him to get
up and return to school.
Facing a punishment
so ugly and cruel.
A decline to answer said by the school
leaving his parents to heal their own wounds.
Leaving the teachers scratching their heads
like what could we do instead.
Another one lost,
because of bullying in school.
The anger and violence will be a memory
too, of a life that ended too soon.
