the glitz and glam
fades away
once the camera turns away.
Shadows lay in once key lights
Lights. Camera. Action.
then its goodnight.
Billboards with your face and name.
All these stars play the game.
Media runs the same way,
selling a lifestyle that can’t be obtained.
But don’t come attacking me,
it’s just my point of view.
