If you can see the world from my eyes
Would you be surprised
The little things that you miss
I pick up on quick.
Or would you see the truth?
Of all the things I do.
Does any of it matter in the end?
Nothing left to defend.
Life can disguise
of hidden truths and lies
But one can’t decide
What is like to be on the other side.
So flip the coin
of emotion and action.
At least one might be right.
And we can stop pretending
How the other feels inside.
