I watch you from afar
you have no idea I’m there at all.
You fight to get through your day
Not knowing I’m whispering it will be okay.
Your smile fades when life hits you
I try to direct you to a new point of view.
You take too much on
Against my better judgment
You deserve to have it all
Not just disappointment.
Don’t burn the candle at both ends
Do you know what it’s like to see you stress?
Try not to fear I’m never to far
Watching you I’ve done all along.
Always guiding you through every step
Walking besides you to the very end.
