Falling on me
As I look to the sky
Dark clouds surround me
Lightning striking nearby
Dragged by the current
Dark water at my feet
War above my head where the clouds meet.
Trees shaking with a chilling breeze
Dogs barking on all streets
Black rain pouring heavily
Finding shelter to rescue me
Waiting the storm out
As the sun begins to peak
Sun rays cascading through
Shadows fading finally
Clouds departing
Ground is glistening
What a lovely sight to see.
